well ive been with att for years now and have ups and downs. mostly ups though, i even got their uverse cable/internet and im enjoying it.

id still like to stick with att and use the telstra version for the reasons agoat said, but my pocket is secretly telling me to go to tmo.

in my experiences just by word of mouth, tmo sucks. plain and simple. their phones are awesome and they may have good CS, but everyone i know who has one says they wish the reception was better. some say they must stand near windows to make calls indoors... lol thats my favorite one i heard.

anyways, maybe ill try and convince ATT to give me a deal, or else ill switch to tmo. see what happens. If you dont ask, you dont get!

In the world of modifying phones, its similar to modifying cars. There are three aspects:

'Cheap, Fast, Or Reliable.' Choose two and the third can not apply.

If you are in a good area which is far and few in between you will be alright with T-mobile. Dont expect 3G outside some major cities. If you plan to make a call just go out on the front porch.  And keep your calls under 5 minutes so you wont have that many dropped calls.

But seriously if you are in an area then go for it. I happen to be in one of their so called good areas and everyone I know with t-mobile has issues with constant dropped calls. T-mobile just doesnt have enough towers. They talk big about 4G but you have to have some towers to be able to upgrade them.

Att is much better with getting 3G outside of major cities. Too bad they don't make a cdma HD2. Because verizon does trully have the map covered. lol.

Seriously. I got that from T-mobiles website. I was looking at their map which is about non existing and that is what it says for 99.5% of the US. Go outside to make a call.
