Hi all,

Just noticed this issue and want to see if there are any others noticed the same before or can check their HD2 for same issue.

My HD2 screen is perfect under day light or yellow light at night. with no mark-spot and very smooth.
Bu last night I noticed that under white light like fluorescent, there is a mark at the center of the screen with colours. you can see it when the screen is on or off. But on daylight or yellow light lamp, you can not see it in anyway.

Can you please check yours in white light?

Thanks.

Hi  kertenkele,

In answer to your question, No!!! I work in an inspection department with fluorescent lighting, and a magnifying lamp with the same, but no mark at all?
I have had my phone since February this year. Sounds like some sort of damage to the LCD, but is there a cover above the LCD that may be causing the problem?

Maybe someone here has taken the phone apart before and has come across something like this before.

I see.
Yes it is under guaranty yet, but I am not sure if sevice will accept it.
Definitely no damage and there is no mark a that part because of any hard touch.

But really very interesting it appears only under white light. Any idea about this situation?
anything common with the lcd?

Hi

Just a thought, are you using a screen protector?

The reason i ask is, if you are using a screen protector and have trapped some oil residue under it, this would explain the colours showing.
This might be the refraction of light between the surfaces.

regards

Paul.
