I checked out the Touch HD and it looks like a VERY solid phone, only gripes I can see are: No Flash in Camera, Lower Proccesor.

The Touch HD is pretty cheap so I was wondering, does it compare to HD2? Or should I just go for the better tech.

Other than being HTC and winmo they are very different. HD runs 6.1 and is smaller. Half the processor. Resistive touch screen.  You really can't compare the 2.

I had the hd for 6 months before I got hd2. It was really nice phone, no match for this monster. I'm not tech,at all, but even what i do on them, it is like wow,what a difference. I'm keeping hd as back-up, I don't have landline anymore.  Quig

HD never really made it here in states. Lots of people put 6.5 on it, & other mods, made it pretty nice.
