I have #2,, the plastic abs is inside leather flap, just keeps it protected in pocket, or dropping it.The rest of case is also molded with abs inside. I don't think #1 has plastic over screen either. screen is always covered, unless you are using it. I took off sp,I like the real screen to much..Quig

I had put screen protector on, can't be too careful?,, but took back off, screen is protected in pocket. lol

I really like it, looks cool, and could justify it by saying that it will replace my wallet / card holder. I liked my old xda case - good protection, place for cards, etc. But a lot of money, it will put a hole in my wallet, and as I say more expensive than the phone which was free. Likely that I will just get another free one and a better one in 24 months time when my contract ends and so will have to get another case then too. Also if I go for the bigger battery then it will not fitted. Stick with the pouch.....but still tempted!

just bought myself this one from case mate.
it's a hard rubber, almost similar to the one i bought from HK but it covers the camera lens edge so it wont get scratched.
much more expensive than my first, but i think it's worth it.

I have ordered this one also waiting on it but is that the black one or the grey one cause the colour looks different

bought it from local shop here in singapore..but you may try case mate website.

  I bought this case 3 days ago, and it is a well made case that cover the phone well. I can't recommend it because taking it off will damage the phone. It is such a tight fir that in order to get it off you have to pry it off pretty hard. If you never plan on taking it off then you should be fine.

It is very nice leather case (color is like dark-blue) for about $20 and it is so worth the money! I got it from Czech republic's store Alza for even less price Smiley Hope I helped
