I ordered this one http://www.netimes.com/shop/desktop-cradle-w-2nd-battery-charger-for-htc-hd2-t8585-htc-leo-p-2457.html?cPath=80_731

I don't want to have a 3.5mm jack on my cradle cuz it would make the process of picking it up a lot harder. Anyway, its still not here. It has left HK on the 8th.

Hi all,
Has anyone had any problems with the Kidigi delux charger / cradle?, the one I had made my nice new HD2 crash  Huh.  I did a soft reset checked all connections ok, it did it again!  Roll Eyes  so sent back the cradle to mobile fun. The cradle was connected to the mains via the the supplied lead, and to my stereo via ext - in (which works fine when just plugged direct into phones 3.5mm jack. - btw when turned on, the cradle made the tuner on stereo go all white noise! Great stuff
Any info would be great.
Many thanks

Hi Delenda,
When you get your cradle can you advise if all ok? I may try another KiDiGi if there's no problems. Poss just a faulty batch?  Undecided
Many Thanks

Dear All,
I have sent a message to my dealer right away before shipment, just to learn about feedbacks so I can make my decision. Here is the answer :

"I just run throuh a test. Connect speaker (http://www.kidigi.com/upload/product/m_261746605749.jpg). Music play and even incoming call haven't inference the speaker. Of course, for the case mention in the forum. It might be the phone 3G signal inference the stereo. It means the phone effect the stereo even without connect our cradle. The ther other issue with "kill" the PC is a joke. The AC adptor is only provide power to charge the phone, and the second battery. Which is not stick with the micro usb socket. But in some case if the user PC using wrong USB socket may effect the pc or the phone. As you know a desktop case may have some usb port in the front and some on the back. And many of the port in the front is not a stable and not suitable for heavy USB device like portable harddrive. For our cradle might be the same case. So we will suggest user to connect the cradle with usb at the back of the pc case. If you recieve the item, and really have such problem. No question, we will make the full refund. But of course you're buying for improve your life, not buying for refund. Should you have further question, please write to us."

I will make my own comment as soon as I get mine.

Hi Delenda,

Regarding the info from KiDiGi, I can only speak from my problems with the 1st deluxe cradle I had, the interference to the stereo was not the 3g signal nor was the fact it made my phone crash the second it was placed in the cradle. As for the PC problem - that is from a post / thread from the Xda hd2 site forum, most of the cradles seem ok??, just a word of warning from one of those who have had problems.
Hope your one is ok... Tongue
Regards
s

Update;
I took the plunge and got another KiDiGi deluxe cradle as it seem to be the only cradle with a 3.5mm music jack.  Shocked  This new one from Mobile fun works perfectly, I can only surmise there was a faulty batch of cradles and I was unfortunate to get one. On the basis of this 'new' cradle I would also recommend it

Hey, Barry, I've never used usb, always plug into wall charger, it's right beside me in my chair. No problem. Only 1.!  If you don't have earphones in or external speakers hooked up, you won't hear incoming calls ring.  I would not buy again, knowing this. ,,,,Quig

Hi All,
Sorry for being late about letting you know my experience with the cradle in question.

Everything is OK. I really like it. I have a headphone connected to cradle, when it rings it rings both on the headphone and on the phone, no problems with the notification.

I will check tomorrow if it rings when there is no headphone connected to the cradle and let you know.

The only thing I wonder whether there will be any problem if it is both connected to AC and USB port of computer, as I sometimes use in that way. I had no problem so far.
