This phone does not have that feature. I remember hearing about a TellMe application that might do this. I believe it was only working correctly on the TMOUS HD2. But I am not positive about it. Getting text to speech has been a chore in itself on this phone.

give this app a try: http://www.tellme.com/you  I believe this is the same app that win 7 will use according to the win7 phone emulator.

Unfortunately tellme it's not available for our phone atm.  You can try a port from another phone that's supported:  http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=650062

That's all I could find.

No you can not get it from Tmo.  here is the .cab so you can use it.  It has it's quirks because it's made for the samsung but overall it does the job.

TMOUS is T-mobile U.S.

If you go to the TMOUS section of the forum TM-Tech1 has it for the T-mobile US phone.

Why not provide the link to it? Thank you!

I did not provide a link because I would have had to search for it myself. If you wanted it you could have done the same thing.  I do not have all links memorized or saved for easy access.

I put "tellme" in the search box and amazing things happened. First 3 resulting threads had it in the title and were from TM-Tech1.  So I guess you didn't find it because you didn't look (search).  Roll Eyes

Lets play a game! I told you I look, for TMOUS as the main folder.
Why don't some of you provide 'Added Value' instead of BS and tell people to search. To me you are wasting your time and mine.
If you are an Admin, please ADMIN and don't play 'GOD.'
I just love to read all about the Search feature from people who think that are so smart and really know it all.
Sorry, you did 'urinate' me off. I won't waste your time or mine again.

Asctony,

We all love to help and we are not trying to play God, but we do have a forum to moderate. We get around 20+ new posts a day so remembering the exact location of a post can be quite difficult.  We volunteer to help people, we do not get paid, we have full time jobs like everyone else.  We accepted these positions because we enjoy helping people and love the HD2.  Ago was helping by pointing the interested parties in the right direction.  I'm sorry if you took the response the wrong way.  We do not know it all, nor do we claim to know it all, we all need help and use this forum as a recourse.  The flaming from you was really uncalled for, Agoattamer helps a lot on this forum and thou he does know a lot, his memory is not endless and he can not remember every single location of the posts that people make.

I'm locking this topic, let's put this as water under the bridge and continue on HELPING one another and stop with the flaming.  If you have an issue with someone then please do not bring it to the forums, be the better person and send the individual a private message, it could be a misunderstanding by both parties that is easily corrected by being civil.  We are all human with different personalities, let's remember that.
