Does your data connection use proxy? If yes, try to disable it.

Hi

On a similar theme to the subject but a little different... GMAIL doesn't work on WiFi, it keeps giving a 'Cannot connect with current connection settings.'

* standard Telstra ROM
* WiFi works perfect with Opera, Windows Mobile Facebook, Linking contacts etc.
* error happens when trying to send or selecting send/receive

I am baffled as I have used GMAIL succesfully on other phones with the exact same WiFi I have just configured on the HD2!

Any help is appreciated, trying to explore options before doing a ROM change.
