Is it possible to keep the system sounds on but turn off other sounds like incoming calls and messages? Like make a custom profile.
Sometimes I am in a lecture and dont want the phone to go off but then I want to keep switching back and fourth if I wish to listen to something on the phone.

Go to the sounds settings and chose to have the system sounds and ringer sounds separted. Once you do that you can chose what volume you are changing when using the volume rocker.

Thanks, i was having trouble doing that before. I think you cant do that on the silent profile and i wanted to leave the normal...normal, but i managed to change the vibrate one to do that.
