Morning all,

Thanks for all helpful advice just wondering if theres a site to get Tom Tom for my phone as i don't seem to have co pilot installed or maybe i haven't looked in the right place.

For TT go to www.tomtom.com but TT7 is not compatible with the HTC HD2 yet.  There is a release coming in early March - www.tomtom.com/products/section.php?ID=898&Section=709&Lid=1&Category=2

Check out www.alk.eu.com for CoPilot 8.  There is no trial version available unfortunately.

I've been a TT user for several years and am just about to give CP8 a try as it's SO much cheaper.  The reviews do seem mixed esp. dissatisfaction eith CP support.  TT may be better in that respect but other people get fed up with them trying to treat users as cash cows.

Do plently of online research comparing the two before you choose.

Download BsB Tweaks install then run the application, select menu (bottom right hand corner) then select rotation, go to options and select add application.  You should then run the tom tom software and shake the phone to save configuration changes to tom tom software.

Your phone should reboot then run the tom tom application and it should switch to horizontal.  Grin

Can easily be done by edit following register value, here is how I solved it:
Step 1:
Go to the following Registry key:
HKCU\Software\HTC\HTCSENSOR\Gsensor\ModuleName

Add a new STRING Value:
Name: TomTom
Value: \Program Files\navigator\tomtomnavigator.exe (if you have a different language you may need to change Program Files to whatever you have)

Please note that in this case TomTom is installed on the Device, NOT the Storage Card.

Step 2:
Go to the following Registry key:
HKCU\Software\HTC\HTCSENSOR\Gsensor\Whitelist

Add a new STRING Value:
Name: TomTom
Value: MunichWinClass

Now do a Soft Reset, and now when you start TomTom and put your HD2 in Landscape, TomTom will rotate automatically.
Don't like to install to many apps on my PDA, best when manually edit is possiblie...
