If you dont want to install Net framework 3.5 on your pc to get the file here is the file I used on my phone. Came from XP but I dont think it makes a difference.
Don't forget you have to actually tell your phone to use 3.5 with a registry editor.
Go here: HKLM/Software/Microsoft/.NETCompactFramework
Change the DWORD data of entry 2.0.7045.00 from 1 to 0. Next Change the DWORD data of entry 3.5.7283.00 from 0 to 1 and then reset. This disables 2.0 and enables 3.5.
There is also no need to worry if your old apps run on .NET FW 2.0 before. .NET FW 3.5 uses 2.0 as a base so, whatever that runs on .NET FW 2.0 can run on .NET FW 3.5
I have included a cab file that will just change the registry suggested above if you don't feel like messing with the registry. Tested myself this time.
The TMOUS HD2 has 3.7 already installed. Seems you can't install 3.5 on this version. This leads to issues when installing co0kies home tab. Not sure what do to do for a work around

Ive been reading your post about 3.5...and i dont get it. On my phone you install 3.5 and then it works, no need to do anything else. What you mean is: IF he uses .cab instead of exe., then he have to go in HKLM...right?
Everybody i know got 3.5 on their pc...so when i need it after a new ROM update, then i just update with active sync and get it back.

I havent tried using active sync to update 3.5. Actually I have never seen the instructions to do it that way. Everywhere I have read says install 3.5 on your pc. Then go find that file from the install and install it. Then go into the registry and make sure it is enabled.
Have you gone into your registry and checked to see if 3.5 is by default and not 2.0 yet?

Where do I find HKLM? Edit: What kind of registery editor? http://www.resco.net/pocketpc/explorer/ When you install this you also get Resco Registry editor. HKLM = HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, and then just do as they write here
