In a few months I'll be wanting to get the HD2, but want to stay with T-mobile, I've been with them for about 15 years and not had much trouble with them. I got my current phone direct from them, but there are better deals from other suppliers but staying on T-Mobile, what I need to know is can I use my Current number with the new suppliers contract even though it is still on T-mobile?

Hopefully that all makes sense  Wink

It all depends ratty. For instance, say a person is with O2 but then finds a better deal with tesco mobile and wants to move to them - even though tesco mobile customer's use the o2 network in order to move from O2 to tesco mobile o2 they will need to ask for a PAC code from O2 and then transfer their number over to tesco mobile o2.

Hopefully this helps you a little bit. For the record, I use to work for O2 customer services call centre.

Also, because you've been with T-mobile for 15 years they should be able to give you special discounts under customer loyalty. Whether it be 30% off per month or some cahsback.

Give them a call, tell them about the deal you have seen, explain that you have been with them for such a long time and see what they then have to offer.

ye you've been with them for ages. you should go in store and ask them to sort out a good deal for you, think you might be entitled to 50%

if you wanted to go with a different company but still tmobile, i don't think you can port tmobile to tmobile, so just order a free 02 sim or whatever online and transfer to that then transfer from there to your tmobile new contract (before you get the contract of course)

So, having been a customer for 15 years, doesn't that makes you a special case and they are willing to end the current contract in favor of an extension so you can get the phone now? I mean, you are so loyal!!!!

If i were to go to an operator in my country and kind of threaten them about moving, me being a loyal customer, i might get some kind of deal. I always use this against them, because i don't have a problem moving to a better network that knows how to retain clients Smiley

And i can keep my current phone number if i switch. I can call the customer protection agency if they don't and they are very friendly after that : ))

Yeah I was going to say that no company will let you upgrade early, even if you have been with them for 15 years.

The only way to upgrade early, well with o2, is if you pay over a certain amount of money on average each month.

You will have to wait and yes, you will be able to port your number from t-mobile to t-mobile without a problem.

I have been with T-mobile a long time myself and I have changed phones 5 or 6 times and all I do is move the sim card to the new phone and it is the same phone#
