After being a Nokia fan I leaped over and bought a K800i James Bond silver jobbie which I loved so much I bought another Sony Ericsson - The W960i. Well that was the biggest mistake I ever made, dead slow, horrific touch screen, poor interface, really slow, would reset itself every month or so.. oh and did I mention it was slow?

That really put me off Sony Ericsson so I looked back at Nokia but knowing I wanted speed and ease of use, I couldn't find a Nokia that delivered so I looked at the dreaded iphone! Luckely after asking a few people I was directed towards HTC and found the HD2. I was sold and ordered on Friday, however it has yet to arrive  Roll Eyes

I had the T-Mobile G1 last. Before that, I had an iPhone (for about two months). And before that I had several BlackBerrys.

oh dear, do i really have to tell you all??.. ok, i was the unfortunate owner of one of those dam vodafone 360 H1 samsungs.  Dont get me wrong though, its a cool looking phone, and would be one to own! if only the software worked in it... (as mentioned in the ;introduce yourself' post). 3 times it went back for repair, and after a second, then an offer of a third one (same issues i hasten to add) i said 'NOOOOO' I DONT WANT ANOTHE ONE OF THOSE!!!!!!!!!  and after many hi volume conversations to phones4u head office, they finally offered me a choice of 'sony/ericsson experier x10' or the hd2.... so guess which one i chose??  lol   Grin

Well, we have limited stock here in South Africa.

Started off with:
Nokia 2110
Nokia 5110
Nokia 3310
Nokia 5210
Nokia 9300i
Sony Ericsson P910
Samsung D500
Sony Ericsson K800
Blackberry Bold 9000

What a ride! That Nokia 5110 had phenomenal battery life, mine was stolen though Sad

I bought the T-Mobile/HTC G1 about a month after it released.  Loved it, hated it, loved it again lol.  I did about 3 months worth of reading up on phones coming out and phones that are already here.  Watched a ton of youtube vids as well.  Almost waited for the possible T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S, but I decided against it for one simple reason.  No camera flash lol.  I'm sure many people may say that isn't a deciding factor, but what good is an 8mp camera with no flash?  Anyway, I've had my HD2 for about 3 days now and although I'm finding I've got no idea how to REALLY put it to use, I LOVE IT.

I had a Samsung Behold.  Right after it was released in the US.  I got the very first version I think.

I was so excited when I got it.  I absolutely loved it...I even found the Behold sister site.  Lots of helpful folks over there.  Got some cool games and some other neat things.

Then...it started having problems.  I managed to get it replaced via the warranty but by then I was not a happy Behold user.

I'm a proud Samsung owner.  I have a TV, and a couple DVD players that have been stellar products for me, but as far as cell phones go?  I'll never own a Samsung phone again.

I was on the fence when it came time to get a new phone.  It was either the MyTouch, Motorola Cliq XT or HD2.  I wanted to go Android, but the features of the HD2 just flat out sold me.  I honestly couldn't see myself using the other two.  I'm happy I made the choice that I made.  MyTouch and Cliq just didn't seem to have the versatility.
